UNISTELLAR Care: Commercial Warranty - about Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose of the Commercial Warranty

1.1 Eligible Models

The following devices are eligible for the UNISTELLAR Care Commercial Warranty, referred to as the "Device" or "Guaranteed Device":

  • ODYSSEY

  • ODYSSEY PRO

  • ODYSSEY PRO RED

  • EQUINOX 2

  • EVSCOPE 2

1.2 Scope of the Warranty

UNISTELLAR Care is an additional warranty that offers extended protection for your Device. It complements, but does not replace, the legal warranty obligations outlined in Articles L.217-4 and following the Consumer Code and Articles 1641, and following of the Civil Code.

This warranty provides:

  • Extension of Warranty: Adds one additional year to the initial legal warranty, covering material and manufacturing defects for a total of three years from the delivery date.

  • Repair Coverage: Covers malfunctions identified by UNISTELLAR Customer Service during the warranty period. A malfunction is defined as an internal issue requiring spare parts replacement.

  • Accidental Damage Coverage.

  • Battery Replacement: Provided under specific conditions.

  • Priority Technical Support.

  • Number of Covered Interventions: Two (2) interventions during the warranty period.


2. Eligible Geographic Areas

2.1 Covered Territories

UNISTELLAR Care is available in the following regions:

  • European Union (EU) – Continental (excluding overseas territories)

  • United States of America (USA) – Continental (excluding Hawaii and Puerto Rico)

  • Switzerland

2.2 Excluded Territories

UNISTELLAR Care is not available in the following areas:

  • United Kingdom (UK)

  • Japan (JP)

  • Any country or territory not explicitly listed in Section 2.1.


3. Warranty Term and Duration

The warranty:

  • Lasts for three (3) years and is non-renewable.

  • Starts on the delivery date of the Guaranteed Device and upon payment of the subscription fee.

Subscription Timing:

  • At purchase

Warranty Termination Conditions:

The warranty ends if:

  1. The 3-year period expires.

  2. The Device is lost (subject to proof).

  3. The Device is rendered unusable due to damage not covered under the warranty, provided the unusable Device is returned to UNISTELLAR.

Launch Period Extension:

  • Until 05/03/2025, customers with purchases made within the last 6 months can subscribe by providing proof of purchase.

  • Note: The subscription fee is non-refundable and coverage lasts 3 years from the Device delivery date.


4. Battery Replacement Conditions

Battery replacement is provided if the battery fails to maintain:

  • At least 3 hours of autonomy for ODYSSEY and ODYSSEY PRO.

  • At least 6 hours of autonomy for EVSCOPE 2 and EQUINOX 2.

Testing Conditions:

Battery performance must be tested at temperatures between 0°C and 20°C.


5. UNISTELLAR Care Pricing

5.1 Warranty Pricing

The total cost of the warranty depends on the Device model:

  • EVSCOPE 2 / ODYSSEY PRO: $399 / €399

  • EQUINOX 2 / ODYSSEY: $299 / €299

5.2 Deductibles

Deductibles apply for the following services:

  • Accidental Damage Repair: $299 / €299

  • Battery or Tripod Replacement: $49 / €49


6. Exclusions

The following are not covered under UNISTELLAR Care:

  • Accessories

  • Damage resulting from non-compliant use

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage involving third-party liability or intentional acts

  • Damage from modifications to the Device’s original design

  • Damage from unauthorized servicing or repairs by non-UNISTELLAR personnel


7. Technical Support

UNISTELLAR Care provides priority technical support from the date of delivery, including:

  • Access to dedicated technical support via email.

  • The option to schedule video call support after initial email contact.

  • Priority response times.

  • Assistance with installation, setup, and use of the Device.

  • Preliminary diagnostics in case of malfunctions.

8. Implementation Procedures

To utilize the warranty, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Support: Report malfunctions via the online form within 15 days of discovery.

  2. Verification: Customer Support will confirm the malfunction.

  3. Return of Device: Ship the Device, all accessories, and proof of purchase with the warranty.

  4. Repair Process: Upon verification of the malfunction by UNISTELLAR Customer Service, the Device will be repaired or replaced.

Shipping Costs:

UNISTELLAR covers all shipping and delivery costs for repairs or replacements.

Repair/Replacement Workflow:

  1. Fault Declaration

  2. Technical Diagnosis

  3. Approval of Coverage

  4. Device Return for Repair/Replacement

  5. Repaired/Replacement Device sent back to Customer
