Unistellar Help Center

Why should I share my data with Unistellar?

Please keep in mind that you own your observations. By sharing your data with us, you allow Unistellar to continually improve the observing experiences of its users.

Your sharing also makes scientific discoveries possible, and Unistellar will mention your contribution to those discoveries if you wish. As is customary in these situations, the results of analyses that produce discoveries are the property of the people who did the analysis, that is to say, Unistellar and its scientific partners.

The data and metadata collected by Unistellar are your observations, geolocations, and timestamps. This data is processed in a way that preserves your anonymity until the moment of discovery, at which time you can tell us if you wish to be mentioned.
