What can I buy from Unistellar using cryptocurrency?

All Unistellar telescopes can be purchased using cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, at the present time, cryptocurrency cannot be used to purchase the eVscope backpack.

How does it work?

Simply select the product you wish to purchase and where it will be delivered, for example, an eVscope eQuinox in the United States: https://unistellaroptics.com/equinox-en-us/, and click the "order now" button.

A popup will open :

Simply select the option to pay with BitPay and you will be taken to the BitPay website where the rest of the transaction will take place - this works exactly like PayPal payments.

Please note: because of regulations you may be asked to provide an ID if you do not already hold a BitPay Account. 

What is BitPay?

BitPay is a cryptocurrency payment service provider based in the United States. BitPay provides cryptocurrency payment processing services for merchants and e-commerce businesses like Unistellar.

What cryptocurrency does BitPay support?

BitPay currently supports:

- Bitcoin (BTC),

- Bitcoin Cash (BCH),

- Ethereum (ETH),

- Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC),

- Dogecoin (DOGE),

- Litecoin (LTC),

- Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB)

- 5 USD-pegged stablecoins (GUSD, USDC, USDP, DAI, and BUSD).

You can therefore use any of these to purchase an eVscope 2 or eQuinox from Unistellar. Prices are set in the country's currency like US dollars (USD), Great British Pounds (GBP), Japnese Yens (JPY), or Euros (EUR), the crypto exchange rate would always translate in the correct equivalent.

Can I return an item purchased with BitPay?

Yes. You can return an item purchased with BitPay to Unistellar as long as the transaction meets our Terms and Conditions. Please note that we do not collect cryptocurrency from BitPay, the refund would therefore be in the currency of the country of delivery and by bank transfer only.
