How to Cast the App on a Larger Screen?

Follow

To share your observation with a wider audience, you may want to share your smartphone or tablet screen on a larger device, like a TV monitor or projector. Depending on the device you are using with the app, there are several options.

To stream your smartphone or tablet screen to a TV monitor or projector, you can follow these general steps:

  1. Check compatibility: Ensure that your smartphone or tablet supports screen mirroring or has built-in screen-sharing capabilities. Additionally, confirm that your TV monitor or projector supports screen mirroring as well. This information can usually be found in the device's user manual or by searching online.
  2. Connect using a physical cable (if applicable): Some devices, like certain Android smartphones or tablets, may support a wired connection using an HDMI or USB-C cable. Check if your device has the necessary ports and obtain the appropriate cable. Connect one end of the cable to your device and the other end to an available HDMI or USB port on your TV monitor or projector.
  3. Use wireless screen mirroring: Most modern devices offer wireless screen mirroring options, commonly referred to as "screencasting" or "screen sharing." Here's how to do it:
    • Make sure your smartphone or tablet and TV monitor or projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • On your smartphone or tablet, go to the settings menu and look for options related to screen mirroring or casting. Depending on your device, these options may be located under Display, Connections, or Network settings.
    • You can enable the screen mirroring or casting function and wait for the device to search for available devices.
    • On your TV monitor or projector, you can just navigate to the input source or settings menu and select the appropriate screen mirroring option. It may be called "Screen Mirroring," "Miracast," "AirPlay," or something similar.
    • Once the TV monitor or projector is ready to receive the screen mirroring signal, your smartphone or tablet should display a list of available devices. Select the TV monitor or projector from the list.
    • After a brief connection process, your smartphone or tablet screen should be mirrored on the TV monitor or projector.
  4. Use a streaming device or dongle: If your TV monitor or projector doesn't have built-in screen mirroring capabilities, you can use a streaming device or dongle like Google Chromecast, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV Stick. These devices connect to your TV's HDMI port and enable wireless screen mirroring from your smartphone or tablet using their respective apps or functions.

Remember that the specific steps may vary depending on your device's operating system (Android, iOS, etc.), manufacturer, and model. It's always recommended to consult the device's user manual or support documentation for detailed instructions tailored to your specific device.
