How to Manually Move the Telescope (Joystick)?

Follow

Your telescope can be manually moved with an in-app joystick. As an example, this allows you to target the telescope to a specific part of the night sky with visible stars to start the orientation process.

Go to the observation page to access the Move mode.

Once your telescope is connected to the app, you can reach the observation page from the Homepage.

Tap on the "Watch" button to start observing.

The observation page can also be reached from the Catalog, Science, and the Gallery page. There is a "Watch" button at the bottom right of each page.

Once on the observation page, you can swipe right to access the Move mode or tap on the "Move" button directly.

You can move the telescope by dragging the in-app joystick.

Activating Slow mode gives you finer control.
