The gallery contains all the images you have saved during your observation sessions. From there, you can view detailed information about your images, share them, delete them and select ones to display as illustrations in your catalogue.
Note: Your captures are saved in PNG format in the memory of your device (smartphone or tablet), so you can access the images in your device's memory if you want to transfer your images to another device, such as a computer.
To access the gallery, go to the home screen, swipe up while holding the search bar, and tap Gallery.
In the gallery, the images are sorted by date of observation.
When you tap an image in the gallery, you can access additional information and options. You can share the image, view details, and delete it.
Selecting Illustrations Images for the Catalog
With the new version of the app, you can now select one of your images to illustrate each of your observations in the catalog by tapping the icon .
The icon will then turn blue, indicating that the image has been successfully selected as the illustration for the observation. This image will represent the object in question in the catalog. Tap this icon again to remove the illustration from the catalog.
Selecting objects to display
Tap the Filters button to display only one or more types of objects. Use the selection options to choose which types of objects to display.
Selecting images
Tap Edit to select multiple images at once for sharing or deletion.
