Is this User Account Mandatory?

We introduced the user account in the 4.0 update upon frequent requests from our science astronomers, to regroup their achievements in one single place. It is not mandatory to create this account; you can still use your telescope (observations or science missions) without it.

 

Does the User Account in the App Have Anything to Do with the Helpdesk Account?

The Help Center login isn’t connected to the App in any way. It’s simply a feature offered by Zendesk (our ticketing and FAQ platform). Some companies choose to require users to log in to access support, but that’s not our case. You can access all our support content without signing in - the login option is totally optional.

 

Once my Account is Created, Does Unistellar Have Access to it?

No, we don't have access to it. It's just like your private email space. If you want to log out, reset your password, or delete your account, you need to do it on your own.

 

 

If I Delete my Account, Can I Recreate it with the Same Email?

Yes, you can. However, you won't retrieve your previous data.

 

How Fast the Verification or Reset Email is Sent?

Immediately. Please check your spam folder just in case.

 

I Haven't Received the Reset Email.

You need to create and verify your account first. 

 

What to Do if I Get an Error While Creating My Password?

Please check your special signs. Sometimes, + is not accepted. Please try again.

 

I Can't Get to Create an Account, What Should I Do?

Please make sure you are NOT connected to your telescope and that you have an Internet connection.

 

I Don't See Any Observations. Why?

If you observed before the 4.0 update, your user account will not show any observations - it's not retroactive. If you observed after 4.0 and don't see anything, please contact us. Please note that it can take up to a day or two for the pipeline to process and show the observations in your account.
