How to Install the Mounting Adapter on Your ENVISION Binoculars – UNISTELLAR Help Center

ENVISION binoculars can be used with a monopod, tripod, or any other compatible mount to improve stability and comfort during your observations.

To install the mounting adapter, you first need to access the threaded mounting hole located at the front of the binoculars.

The mounting thread is located at the front of your ENVISION binoculars, behind the cover featuring the UNISTELLAR logo.

Locate the cover at the front of the binoculars, between the two objective lenses.
Gently unscrew the cover by turning it counterclockwise.
Remove the cover to reveal the threaded mounting hole.

Once the cover has been removed:

Position the ENVISION mounting adapter over the threaded hole.
Gently screw the adapter into place until it is securely attached.
Make sure the adapter is properly secured before attaching the binoculars to your mount.

Important: Do not overtighten the adapter, as this could damage the threads.

The ENVISION mounting adapter allows you to attach your binoculars to a monopod or tripod equipped with a standard 1/4-inch mounting screw.

Make sure everything is securely attached and stable before starting your observation.

A monopod is particularly suitable for mobile observations and helps reduce the weight supported by your arms.
A tripod provides greater stability, especially during extended observation sessions.
We recommend using aluminum mounts to minimize potential interference with the binoculars' orientation sensors.
