How does eQuinox 2 differentiate from the eQuinox?

The improved eQuinox 2 sensor provides more detailed observations so that you can enjoy everything from Jupiter’s great red spot to the inner details of the Orion nebula, our nearest stellar nursery.

The eQuinox 2 benefits from a higher-resolution sensor than the eQuinox. Your images will now be 27% more detailed.

Thanks to this new sensor and its wider field of view, you will be able to observe the full Moon directly in your eyepiece or the three galaxies of the Leo triplet in a single observation.

How does eQuinox 2 differentiate from the eVscope 2?

The main difference between the two products is that the eVscope 2 benefits from an eyepiece co-designed with Nikon, our optical partner. About the eye relief: the technology in the Nikon eyepiece has been built in a way that will put your sight at ease while observing - even if you wear glasses - and can be adjusted with the knob located on the side of the eyepiece. There is a diopter adjustment of -4/+3.

In conclusion :

We use a fast image stacking algorithm and variable exposure time to provide an on-the-go while-it-stacks live user experience offering you stunning views of the Cosmos, in just a few seconds. Our proprietary algorithms are capable of compensating for small movements of the field, the rotation of the field of view as well as correcting for light pollution. The stacking also produces a neat image in the eyepiece.

No camera is needed to take and share photos with our products, the sensor used in them will allow you to get the best combination of resolution and sensitivity allowed by its construction. You can then retrieve the pictures directly on your smartphone or tablet.

Our telescopes allow you to discover the Universe as you have never seen it before, jumping from one object to the next, and learning along the way.
