The NASA-funded "UNISTELLAR Network Investigating TESS Exoplanets (UNITE)" project is officially listed as a NASA Citizen Science program as of December 13th, 2022, with a link to our science webpage: https://science.nasa.gov/citizenscience

We're also featured on the main science.nasa.gov page with a blog highlight. Under the UNITE program, UNISTELLAR citizen astronomers helped confirm a TESS giant planet! Additionally:

In the US, citizen astronomers from the UNISTELLAR community who helped the NASA mission target Lucy to the Trojan asteroids were then invited by NASA to attend the mission's launch.

Citizen astronomers from the UNISTELLAR community were among the very few to observe and record the impact of DART, the very first space planetary defense drill in human history. The results were published in Nature.

In 2025, our Cosmic Cataclysms campaign also became a NASA Citizen Science program, extending our partnership with the agency.
