ENVISION Campaign Backers – Why Have I Received a Payment Request?

If you have received an email asking you to complete a payment before your ENVISION binoculars are shipped, this is expected and part of the normal fulfillment process.

What does this payment cover?

Depending on your order and delivery country, this payment may include:

• Shipping fees;
• Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.) that were not collected during your original campaign contribution.

The amount varies depending on your shipping destination and local tax regulations. These charges were communicated from the beginning of the campaign.

Is this email legitimate?

Yes.

Payment requests are sent automatically through Unistellar's order management system as part of the official fulfillment process.

If you have already confirmed your shipping address and received a payment request, your order is progressing normally toward shipment.

Why wasn't this payment collected during the campaign?

As explained during the campaign, shipping costs and applicable taxes are collected separately before shipping.

This is a common practice for crowdfunding campaigns, allowing shipping charges and taxes to be calculated based on the final delivery destination when orders are ready to ship.

Why am I being asked to pay taxes for my pledge?

Do all backers pay the same amount?

No.

The total depends on several factors, including:

• Your delivery country;
• Shipping costs;
• Applicable local taxes.

As a result, payment amounts may differ between backers.

What happens after I complete the payment?

Once your payment has been successfully processed, your order will enter the shipping preparation stage.

Orders are typically dispatched within 10 days, although this timeframe may vary depending on your fulfillment batch and logistics schedule.
