Common Shipping Terms, Explained

Follow

1. Order Date

An order date is a date that a customer has completed the transaction and made a purchase from Unistellar. This will often be different from the ship date, it depends on the stock availability.

2. Pre-Orders

When an item is displaying the Pre-Order button, this means that there is an extended backorder.  Pre-ordering this item will reserve your space in line to receive this product when it becomes available from our local warehouses. You will be charged at the time of purchase for these orders.

3. Shipment Date

The actual date a seller hands off a shipment to the carrier. In other words, the specific date that the order is shipped from our warehouses to the customer. This is also the date from which you’d calculate time-in-transit. When the item is in stock, it typically takes us 5 to 10 business days to ship it. Sometimes, an order will go through for an item that is out of stock and cannot be fulfilled immediately. When this happens, an estimated shipping time is given to let customers know when they can expect their order to be shipped (i.e. a timeframe, available here).

4. Delivery Date

The delivery date is the actual date an order will be delivered to the customer. When dates cannot be guaranteed (it depends on carriers and this is beyond our control), Unistellar uses estimated shipment dates to communicate expectations + transit times.

A gentle reminder : Delivery times are the responsibility of carriers, please contact them first.

If you have any issue with the delivery of your order and cannot reach out to the carrier please contact us here.
