Observation Page Explained

The observation page lets you see what your telescope is observing. This is where you’ll start observing and enjoying your observations.

 

Go to the Observation Page

Once your telescope is connected to the app, you can go to the observation page by tapping the Observe button .

From the observation page, you can start the telescope orientation, use the Move mode to manually move your telescope, and use the Settings mode to adjust certain image settings.

You can also access the gallery and capture images of your observations
 

Enhanced Vision (Dynamic Signal Amplification)

Once you have completed the orientation of the instrument, use the GoTo function to point it at the object of your choice. Then tap the Enhanced Vision button to enable Enhanced Vision (Dynamic Signal Amplification). Tap the button again to turn it off.

Zoom

While observing, you can pinch in or out with your fingers on the screen to see more details. You can also hide the interface by tapping anywhere on the screen. Tap again to bring it back.

Shortcuts

The menu in the upper-right corner provides shortcuts to various features: observation page settings, instrument settings, image capture mode selection, initiating an orientation, eyepiece focusing, status, and the help center.
